No data brokers
We do not sell or license personal data to data brokers. We do not use SDKs whose business model is selling behavioural or location dossiers.
No military / surveillance resale path
We do not knowingly route location or sensitive religious-use data into broker networks. Location, when used, is for a stated product job (e.g. prayer times) and is documented.
Kids products: no exploitative ads
Apps we publish in kids categories do not use behavioural advertising networks or interstitial ad models that interrupt learning. Monetisation is subscription, family plan, or one-time unlock.
Safety and privacy features are not paywalled as bait
Core safety/privacy controls required to use the product responsibly are not locked behind premium solely to coerce payment. Premium may add convenience filters; it must not sell “basic dignity.”
Billing that respects refunds
Where we sell digital goods on Apple/Google platforms, we prefer store-native billing so platform refund rules apply. If we ever use web billing, we document how refunds work before charging.
Independent ownership, stated plainly
We disclose who owns Zerophia and material control changes. We will not hide a sale of the company or of a user-facing product brand from users.
Honest numbers
We publish only metrics we can substantiate. If we don’t know, we don’t invent.
Shariah-sensitive claims are operational
If we claim Islamic or ethical compliance for a feature (e.g. content review, screening), we maintain written procedures and named accountability — not marketing language alone.
Supply chain review
We review third-party SDKs, analytics, payments, and hosting against this charter before shipping. Material new SDKs trigger a re-check.
Escalation
Gray areas go to the CEO/board. We would rather delay a feature than ship a quiet ethics exception.
